Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Adam has been enthusiastic about the creation and modification of architectural spaces and unique objects for as long as he can remember. After earning an MFA in Sculpture from Louisiana State University, Adam was coerced into building houses for theater, and has sought to import historically rich methods and materials into performance spaces.
In 2009/10, he toured with Philadelphia-based Olive Dance Theatre’s Swift Solos as Environment/Equipment Designer. Adam was responsible for the export of living water specimens, and the design of the world famous windowside waterworks (London/New Orleans). Adam was a designer for Cripple Creek’s The Shaker Chair, Lysistrata, and Marisol.
Adam feels at home in New Orleans, where the folks are friendly, the houses are fun to work on, and the rain is always welcome.
