Andy Vaught co-founded the Cripple Creek Theatre co in 2006 and still serves as it's Artistic Director. He writes (Mjr. Swelling Salvation Salve Medicine Show,) directs (The Cradle Will Rock) and performs (Balm in Gilead). He partnered in the development of Spirit House with the Greater New Orleans fair Housing Action Center and the Cost of Being Poor with the Greater New Orleans Foundation. He teaches in the local school system, attends the University of New Orleans as an MFA candidate in creative writing, and is thoroughly committed to taking out the trash after performances.
